Hi Traci, can you start by introducing yourself?
We’d love to learn more about how you got to where you are today?
I’ve always considered myself an artist first. I earned my Fine Arts degree from the University of Maryland, College Park, where I developed a strong foundation in design, composition, color theory, and visual storytelling. That artistic background gave me the confidence to teach myself graphic design long before online tutorials and AI tools became mainstream. I was constantly creating, learning new software, and finding ways to turn ideas into impactful visuals.

Hi Traci, thanks for joining us today. Getting that first client is always an exciting milestone. Can you talk to us about how you got your first customer who wasn’t a friend, family, or acquaintance?
My first client was referral from a friend. A local coffee shop needed a website and a logo. Little did I know the shop was a popular spot and a reference point to get new clients.

I am the Owner | Creative Director of TBJ Brand Management Group. A full-service boutique branding and marketing studio based out of Washington, DC. I am a content creator, brand manager, graphic designer, and brand ambassador, pretty much a one-stop-shop.
