ICX is a forward-thinking organization dedicated to empowering students, entrepreneurs, and innovators across the African Diaspora. ICX had evolved significantly, but its website did not reflect the brand’s current positioning or the scale of its initiatives. The previous site presented several challenges:

We began with a full audit of the existing website, content architecture, and brand assets. Through stakeholder interviews and user-path analysis, we identified the core needs of ICX’s primary audiences—students, HBCU partners, donors, and community innovators.
 

Visual Refresh

We developed a design aesthetic that reflects ICX’s values:

  • Bold, youthful, high-impact color choices

  • Clean typography with strong hierarchy

  • Emphasis on empowerment, innovation, and community

  • Strategic use of imagery representing Black students and global diaspora audiences
